Privacy Policy for Evrience Air

Welcome to Evrience Air, a virtual reality application designed to support mental health care professionals (“hosts”) and their clients in a virtual environment. Evrience Air is developed and operated by Evrience (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Evrience Air application and its associated services (collectively, the “Service”).
Collection of Information
Evrience Air does not require users to register or create accounts. Consequently, we do not collect personal information related to account creation or identity verification. Log-in credentials are managed solely by Meta, and we only access aggregated, anonymous analytical data provided through Meta’s SDK. This data helps us improve the Service and does not enable individual identification.
Use of Information
We use data collected via Meta’s analytics to:
Operate, maintain, and enhance the features and functionality of the Service
Improve the safety and performance of the Service
Understand usage patterns to further develop Evrience Air
Meta Platform Features
Evrience Air uses certain Meta Horizon platform features, including:
Avatars: Used to visually represent users in the VR environment. This is not stored or processed by Evrience.
User profile & user ID: Used to allow multiplayer sessions and user presence. This is handled entirely by Meta and is not stored by us.
Subscriptions & in-app purchases: Required to verify user access to simulations. All purchase handling is done through Meta’s payment system.
Invites: Allows hosts to invite clients to sessions. This function is handled within Meta’s platform and not stored externally.
No Meta Horizon User Data is processed or stored outside the Meta platform. Evrience Air does not create, manage, or retain personal user profiles.
User ID and User Profile:
Evrience Air accesses the Meta Horizon user ID and profile name solely to display usernames above avatars during multiplayer sessions. This data is never stored, recorded, shared, or processed beyond its visual use in-session. All information remains within the Meta Horizon ecosystem and disappears once the session ends.
If users wish to request deletion of any data or believe their information is being used improperly, they can contact us at info@evrience.com. However, please note that Evrience Air does not store or maintain any user-identifiable data outside of Meta’s systems.
Voice Chat Functionality
Evrience Air includes real-time voice chat for use during therapy sessions.
Control and consent: Users may mute or unmute themselves at any time.
No recording: Voice chat is never recorded, stored, or processed after a session ends.
Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not share personal information with third parties, except as required by Dutch law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Evrience, our users, or others.
We do not transfer or process any Meta Horizon user data outside of Meta’s systems.
Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to secure aggregated analytics data accessed via Meta. However, no system is completely secure. While we aim to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
User Rights and Data Deletion
Because Evrience Air does not collect or store personal information outside the Meta ecosystem, all user data remains within Meta’s control.
If users wish to manage or delete their data, they may do so through their Meta account settings.
Should any user contact us with a data-related request (e.g. via support), we will review and process that request accordingly. Please contact us via the email address below.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notices or website updates. A new “Effective Date” will always indicate the current version. We encourage users to review this policy periodically.
